Outbound Sales Manager
Business Area: Operations Centre
Location: Peterlee County Durham
Salary: Competitive Salary + Commission Package
Role Purpose
To effectively manage and motivate the Outbound Sales Teams ensuring all sales opportunities are maximised to achieve the sales budget whilst achieving partner service levels and delivering a high quality of service to all customers and so contributing towards the overall profitability of Albany Assistance.
Principle Responsibilities
- To effectively manage and motivate the Outbound Sales Teams to achieve individual and team targets.
- Effectively plan and manage resources to achieve targets and meet partner service levels.
- To maximise all sales opportunities to achieve optimum conversion levels for all Albany schemes.
- Plan, forecast, report on sales performance, according to business requirements.
- Plan and implement activities when required to boost sales performance.
- Plan and implement change initiatives to ensure business benefits are realised.
- To develop a highly motivated Outbound Sales and Service Team by encouraging increased responsibility, self-development and ownership.
- To communicate with the teams and facilitate the setting of targets in order to achieve sales and service targets.
- To liase with other areas of the business to ensure effective communication across the business escalating issues where appropriate.
- To ensure compliance to regulatory requirements i.e. FSA, DPA, GTA, etc.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets. (Essential)
- Experience of working within the Insurance Industry. (Desirable)
- Previous experience working within a Call Centre. (Desirable)
- Professional qualifications within the Call Centre or Insurance Industry. (Desirable)
- Good working knowledge of the claims process. (Desirable)
- Highly flexible and self motivated. (Desirable)
- Previous experience of managing multiple teams within a busy environment. (Desirable)
- Evidence of having managed and developed direct reporting to staff. (Desirable)
