Collections / Claims Negotiators

Salary: OTE £15,000 pa, 37.5 hps + flexible company benefits
Our business is growing and we need additional Collections/Claims Advisors to join us. This is an ideal time to be part of our success story. We provide assistance to customers that have had a motor vehicle accident. We give all our customer s the attention and service they deserve. We recognise that having a motor vehicle accident can be an anxious time and cause unneccessary disruption to the lives of our customers. We acknowledge the needs of our customers and have pride in the services we provide. This makes the job of Collections/Claims Advisor interesting and rewarding. As part of our Collections Team you will make contact with third party insurance companies to negotiate settlement for motor vehicle claims. You will have the autonomy to assess each claim and achieve the best settlement. You will be provided with your own case-load and will have the ability to decide how you will prioritise your cases. You must have experience of working in either a position that involves negotiating settlement on cases or a legal background. You should have good telephone communication and negotiation skills, and decision making skills. Company training includes a three month training schedule which will ensure you have all the skills and knowledge needed to do the job. Every Team has a dedicated Coach and every Department has a dedicated Trainer in recognition of the value we place on developing our people. The position inlcudes a commission package which rewards for case closures and settlements agreed. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, and one Saturday every six weeks (although when you work on a Saturday we also give time off through the week). Peterlee is fairly central to the region and easily commutable from many parts of the region.
