Typical Roles Available
Jewellery Valuer
Confident on the telephone and a good all round communicator, you'll build relationships and provide valuation services within the Guild Jeweller network. This will involve handling Valuation Days, validating jewellery claims and training retail staff on 'best practise'. With experience up to NAG Registered Valuer level, you should also be used to carrying out post-loss assessment. This role is based from home, so you'll have every opportunity to use your initiative.
Sales Executive
A commercially aware person who's confident communicating with all types of people, you'll be responsible for selling Guild Jewellery Services; this will include handling postal valuations and Valuation Days, plus giving training to e-register staff as well as customers. Based from home, you'll be happy using your initiative, coming up with ongoing marketing and sales ideas. A proven sales record is essential, as is a sound level of computer literacy (including knowledge of MS suite).
Jewellery Claims Handler
An organised worker and confident negotiator, you'll handle insurance claims for jewellery and watches, all the way to settlement. This will involve liaising with insurers, jewellers and policyholders, processing invoices and meeting a succession of deadlines, whilst always adopting best claims practice. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas and suggestions in further improving the business and our processes. A working knowledge of MS suite is essential; claims handling experience and knowledge of jewellery retail would be an added bonus.
