Solicitor Supply Chain Manager- Helphire Group
Purpose of job:
The purpose of the role is:
• To manage the panel of solicitors effectively to ensure quality of service is provided to clients and to extract maximum commercial value for the Helphire Group from PI referrals and associated income streams.
• To provide a link with panel solicitors across sales and collections activity across the Group as well as with Peter Holding - Group Legal Director.
• To expedite the collection of outstanding credit hire debt where cases are being handled by solicitors and litigation has occurred.
• Deal with non panel solicitors and indemnity queries and provide a link also to underwriters with regard to indemnity queries.
Principle responsibilities including budgetary responsibility
1. Ensure the panel of solicitors have signed all appropriate contracts, documentation and Helphire is regulatory compliant.
2. Ensure allocation of personal injuries to respective solicitors are as agreed and appropriate and deal with all requests for credits.
3. Ensure that solicitors instructions regarding use of medical agencies and other associated income streams and that all income streams are correctly invoiced and data reconciled and/or appropriate management information is available and monitored.
4. Ensure speedy and efficient collection of relevant credit hire and after the event insurance premium debt.
5. Take responsibility for credits granted to solicitors with a view to lowering these having been benched-marked including taking responsibility for management of any "after sales teams" either directly or indirectly.
6. Provide feedback into collections and sales with regard to credit hire cases.
7. Identify and exploit opportunities for new business.
8. Ensure adherence of service standards by solicitors including by way of audit as agreed with them.
9. Take responsibility for bring on and briefing new panel solicitors where appropriate.

Key skills
• Proven to supply chain management skills.
• Proven negotiation skills at senior management level.
• Self-motivated and able to work remotely as this role may require extensive travel across the UK.
• Experience of handling personal injury claims.
• Ability to assimilate and understand technical and financial information and communicate in a clear and concise authoritative manner.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Proven commercial accument
• Track record of project management through to a successful conclusion.
• Experience, knowledge and in depth knowledge of personal injury, claims and claims process.
