Where do I fit in?

With the wide variety of roles we have available, we appreciate it’s not always easy working out where your skills fit in best. So we’ve created a simple interactive quiz to give you an idea of how your strengths match each of the three key areas we recruit into most often, throughout the Group. There are only five questions, all based on real life situations, and there are no right or wrong answers. Give it a go, and at the end we’ll guide you through to the jobs currently available that we think will suit you most.

Q1. Your friend has just bought a new car, and ten minutes after driving away from the vendor, it breaks down. She calls you immediately. Do you:

Offer to come and pick her up and take her out for a drink to make her feel better
Offer to take her back to the vendor and help her negotiate getting her money back
Offer to find out exactly where she stands legally first, think through how she should approach the vendor and then help her do it

Q2. At work/school/college you are working on a project that's quite detailed and you have a very strict deadline to meet with your boss/teacher/lecturer. The day before the deadline you still have quite a lot of work to do. Do you:

Talk to them and see if you can get an extension to the deadline
Do as much as you can to the best of your ability and hand it in incomplete, but with a detailed explanation why and how you propose to make sure you complete it in a given timeframe
Stay up as late as you need to, to make sure you complete the project in time

After considering the situation, you remember that your friend has a job at the local newspaper, and he owes you a favour. You call him up, and after you've had a chat, you make a trade – you'll take his kids on a picnic, if he'll commission you to review the gig. With your new status as Press, the band's promoters will be sure to let you in!
In your politest voice and with as much charm as you can muster, you speak to the kind people at the box office, make sure that they appreciate quite how important this is to you, and leave them your mobile number for any returned tickets that might turn up.
A friend is working behind the bar in the venue – he's quite keen on this band, but isn't as passionate as you. After a long and persuasive conversation, he agrees to let you swap with him – you'll split the money with him, and promise to treat him to a fantastic meal next time you cook.
