Accounts Assistant

My favourite subject at school was Business studies, especially the finance section. I started in the accounts department at Helphire in September 2005 after hearing about Helphire and their good reputation through a friend. They offered good prospects for the future, an important factor for me.

During my time so far I have developed a good understanding of the accounts system, and have now started training for my AAT qualification at Bath College, which is going to help me a lot. Hopefully I will go on to do a further qualification after this, as I want to progress within Helphire.

Meeting deadlines, particularly at the busy end-of-month, is especially rewarding, and a time when we really help each other out. But that's easy as the whole environment is a genuinely friendly one. I actually have fun whilst I'm at work, and we regularly go on nights out too.
