After nine years I felt I was no longer being challenged in my role, having worked my way up to being an area manager in the betting industry.

Helphire seemed to be going in an exciting direction, so there would be plenty of opportunities for my own personal development. Since joining in December 2005 there's never been a dull moment! I have progressed from Claims Handler to Reviews Team Leader thanks to my own motivation, the support of my team leader and manager, and training such as Stepping into Management.

In my spare time I love to run - I get up early in the morning before work to get me going. Once there, I focus on building the best team in the department. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing people achieving their goal or developing an idea. The company's overall growth means I can look to move to different departments in the future. And in any spare time I do have, I study for my Open University psychology degree.
