Internal Account Controller

After leaving university I spent some time in retail, and quickly realised it wasn't the world for me! I went to a recruitment agency, which had an administrator position with e-register. I saw the potential for working within a start-up company, and my partner (now husband) worked for Helphire at the time and explained what a good company it was to work for. So I decided to apply and started in September 2002. And I've never looked back.

Initially I joined in an administrator role which requires you to be very switched on, and you soon become the core of the business. For me there was no better way to learn. From there I became Senior Administrator, then Internal Accounts Controller and onto my current role of Sales Executive. This takes me out on the road meeting clients; I'm very much a people person and thrive on meeting new people all the time.

I have been fully supported all the way with training, and have been put forward for any course relevant to my role at the time. The work ethos in the company is fantastic. Everyone looks out for each other and I've made some firm friends. You spend the majority of your life working so it's really important that you're happy with your work and the people you work with. e-register ticks all of these boxes for me.
