Aftercare Team Leader
I joined the company on the 27th March 2000. I was originally employed as an admin assistant which included manual filing and helping other departments with their daily tasks. I was in this position for a year and gained experience of how the company worked.
After a year I was promoted to a new claims advisor, which included dealing with broker referrals, calling customers, dealing with incoming calls and providing the best customer service possible. Back then the firm was very small and there wasn't really a sales focus. Times have changed within the new claims area, since moving to Peterlee new incentives have been introduced.
Whilst working within the new claims department I was given the opportunity to gain experience in dealing with aftercare, which is an outbound sales scheme. After successfully hitting my targets, I was given the sales person of the year award which I was very proud of.
Due to the success of my outbound sales I have now been given the role of aftercare team leader, not just dealing with aftercare cases, but also Albany garage referrals, which again has been a great success thanks to the aftercare team.
I truly enjoy my job and everything I do within it, there are great promotional opportunities and the scope for development is second to none.
