I came to Helphire with over seven years' management experience, working in all different types of environments - from nightclubs to retail.
I joined in April 2006 because it was time to do something different; I knew the company was well established, and had a reputation for looking after their employees. I think my lively personality helped, as well as my team working skills. Two weeks of thorough training really prepared me for the work ahead, and I'm applying myself, enjoying it and would like to move on within the company in time.
I've met some really nice people: my team friends are amazing. We have a laugh, go out together for lunch but focus on doing a good job - we know where the boundaries are. The environment in the Bristol office is always electric - everyone seems to get on, work as a team and help each other out when necessary.
